Bicycle charity campaign

The ADFC Jena - Saale Valley is kicking off 2026 with a special charity campaign. On Saturday, January 31, 2026, around 70 bicycles will be handed in on a donation basis. The proceeds will benefit the Förderverein Hospiz Jena e.V. and Jenaer Tafel e.V.

The campaign will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm in the parking lot of the Jenaer Tafel in Lobeda-West (Werner-Seelenbinder-Straße 26). The bicycles come from the stock of a Jena housing cooperative and will thus be given a new use.

There is a choice of children's, city, trekking and racing bikes in various sizes. Seat and handlebar heights can be adjusted on site. Minor repairs are possible if required. The campaign promotes sustainable mobility and at the same time supports social institutions in Jena. Every donation helps to secure the important work of the hospice association and the Jenaer Tafel.
