Under this guiding principle, the KSJ's waste advisory service is increasingly focusing on education and prevention - starting with the youngest citizens, among others.
Through guided tours, age-appropriate educational programs and practical exercises on waste separation, children learn early on how to avoid waste and correctly separate or reuse recyclable materials. The aim is to create a sustainable awareness that will remain anchored in everyday life in the long term. A wide range of accompanying materials are available to download and print out. These support schools, daycare centers and families in integrating the topic of waste prevention into everyday life in a clear and simple way.
