Note on Cleaning and Repair Work

The bicycle parking facilities at Paradiesbahnhof (at Paradiespark) will be temporarily closed on September 29, 2026, starting at 7:30 a.m. for cleaning and repair work. The closure affects the third section behind Paradiesbahnhof. As part of the work, the parking facilities will be cleaned and necessary repairs will be carried out. The closure is necessary to ensure that the work can be completed safely and thoroughly. Once the work is finished, the bicycle parking facilities will be reopened for use. We ask all cyclists to remove their bicycles from the affected parking facilities before work begins. Signs have been posted on-site since September 16, 2026, to notify the public of the upcoming closure.

Bicycles that remain in the parking facilities despite the notices will have to be removed by the public order authority during the work and temporarily stored at Kommunalservice Jena (KSJ), Löbstedter Straße 68. Owners can pick up their bicycles there Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. upon presentation of appropriate proof of ownership.
