Rolling service

Provision of waste garbage cans on the day of emptying: The waste garbage cans must be made available on the day of emptying from 6:00 a. m. on the edge of the public thoroughfare. As this is not always possible, we offer you a collection and delivery service, subject to a corresponding contractual agreement: We will collect the bins from your property on the day of emptying in accordance with the agreed frequency, have them emptied and then put them back again. Cleaning and maintenance

Annual cleaning of 1,100-liter containers: The containers for residual waste and Biowaste, which are the property of the KSJ, are thoroughly cleaned and maintained once a year.

Cleaning service for 60-, 120- and 240-liter bin s: To prevent and eliminate bacteria, germs and mould, we offer a chargeable cleaning service for your waste garbage cans. ^1Theprice includes the following services:

• Cleaning waste garbage cans (inside and outside);
• Removing stickers (damaged, out-of-date) or attaching new or missing stickers;
• Functional test of waste garbage can;
• Cleaning and functional check is registered on the waste garbage can (sticker).

• Transportation
• any emptying that may be necessary

Repair and spare parts

* Different conditions apply for the execution of repair services (including interior and exterior cleaning), depending on the size of the waste container. Separate regulations apply for containers up to 240 l and for containers over 240 l and up to 1,100 l. If the relevant condition is not met, the respective waste container will not be repaired.

The following also applies:

• Waste containers that cannot be repaired will be disposed of. The costs of disposal shall be borne by the client
• Kommunalservice Jena is responsible for classifying waste containers as repairable or non-repairable
• Repair and functional testing is registered on the waste container (sticker)
• The repair costs are documented (e.g. repair time, replacement part)

Litter garbage can lock (rental)

Litter garbage cans are often located in freely accessible places. This poses a risk of unauthorized filling or vandalism. Enclosures are used for the secure storage and provision of waste and recycling bins. With the installation of a 'KSJ lock' next to the house lock - the cylinder length is decisive - only authorized persons have access to the enclosure and smooth disposal can take place. KSJ locking system for container enclosures

Many property owners install enclosures for waste garbage cans to prevent unauthorized filling. This is not possible on every property. We offer the option of locking 1,100 l waste garbage cans with a lock. Access to the waste container is only possible for those authorized to lock it.
