  • The Kommunalservice Jena guide with the 2023 waste calendar has been sent to all households.
  • With the publication of the 2023 guide, the emptying days for individual streets/objects will change in some cases. Please note the corresponding changes in the list of streets in the 2023 waste calendar.
  • Christmas tree disposal will take place from January 9 to 11, 2023.

Please place the cleaned trees with a maximum length of 1.50 m at the container location from 06:00 a.m. during the above-mentioned period. Shorten if necessary! Later disposal can only take place on the respective disposal days of the regular organic waste collection.

  • Biowaste container disposal

Organic waste disposal varies according to the season. From March 6 to December 1, 2023, it will be emptied weekly.

In the remaining period, collections only take place in the even calendar weeks
