New: Kommunalservice Jena now a collection point for corks

Kommunalservice Jena (KSJ) is now participating in a campaign to protect cranes with a collection point for wine bottle corks. You will find the new, registered collection point at the Löbstedter Straße 56 recycling center.

The aim of this campaign is to recycle valuable cork. It helps to preserve cork oak forests in the wintering grounds of the cranes and to obtain ecological insulation material.



The corks are collected in a marked brown garbage can at the recycling center at Löbstedter Straße 56. They can be handed in during opening hours.
