At a time when sustainability and resource conservation are becoming increasingly important, the 4th edition of the repair bonus is now sending out a strong signal for environmentally conscious action. The repair bonus is intended to help ensure that defective appliances are repaired instead of thrown away.
The principle is simple: anyone who brings a faulty appliance in for repair can apply for the repair bonus. If the application is successful, the Erfurt Consumer Center will reimburse 50% of the repair costs up to a maximum of 100 euros per person and calendar year. This makes the decision for a repair more economically attractive.
You can find more information and the eligibility conditions at Repair bonus.
Which appliances are eligible?
The repair bonus applies to a wide range of household appliances. These include, among others:
- Electronic appliances such as televisions, computers and smartphones
- Household appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators and dishwashers
- Small electrical appliances such as toasters, blenders and coffee machines
