From May 19 to 28, 2025, Gerbergasse in Jena will be fully closed to vehicle traffic due to urgently required road construction work. The reason for the measure is a loosened and displaced pavement, which means that road safety is no longer guaranteed . For this reason, the paving will be removed and replaced with lightened asphalt to create a safe and durable surface.
Restricted access to the surrounding buildings
During the construction work, the buildings at Am Anger 13/15 and Lutherplatz 3 will only be accessible by car to a limited extent. Some access roads and parking facilities will not be available during the construction period. Pedestrians and cyclists can still reach the buildings via the access routes to Lutherplatz 3 and from "Am Anger".
Traffic routing and restrictions at a glance
