Automotive mechatronics technician (m/f/d)

Professional education is carried out in the field of commercial vehicle technology. You will learn about vehicle types such as road sweepers, container vehicles, construction and refuse collection vehicles as well as various small vehicles.
The following training focuses are taught:
- Carrying out care and maintenance work on motor vehicles and commercial vehicles
- Carrying out dismantling, repair and assembly work
- Testing and repairing electronic systems, control and regulation systems and energy supply and starting systems
- Testing, adjusting and connecting mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshooting
- Assessing damage
Professional education
takes place at the Staatliche Berufsbildende Schule Technik in Gera.
The practical professional education
takes place in the vehicle workshop of Kommunalservice Jena. There are also inter-company training courses on various topics, which are offered by the Chamber of Crafts.
The workshop staff will be happy to pass on their knowledge to you.
The training period
is 3.5 years.
Training always starts in the official school and training year.
The final examination
is taken at the IHK Gera.
