Exploring Jena on Foot: Nature and Climate

As part of European Mobility Week, our City Forestry Department invites you to join a varied, approximately 6-kilometer hike through the stunning natural surroundings of Jena on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Along the way, small hands-on activities and fascinating insights into nature, the landscape, and the climate will provide variety and new perspectives. A special highlight of the program is a visit to the forum natura Nature Discovery Center, where the new interactive 3D model of Jena will be presented and where visitors can try it out for themselves.
