Filming the profession of funeral director - KSJ shows insights into sensitive day-to-day work

As part of the "Kommunal kann" initiative of the Association of Municipal Enterprises (VKU), a film about the profession of funeral director was made at Kommunalservice Jena (KSJ). The aim of the project is to highlight the diverse and socially relevant professions in the municipal sector.

The film was shot in the KSJ's funeral services department. Our trainee Amelie Ungethüm, together with the well-known YouTuber Marvin Wildhage, provided an insight into her responsible day-to-day work. The film follows the process of a death as an example - from the first contact to the dignified care of the relatives. The video will be published on the YouTube channel "Kommunal kann" in October. We will of course inform you as soon as the video is available online.

Many thanks to all those involved who supported this special production!
