A cooperation between Stadtwerke Jena and Kommunalservice Jena (KSJ) is further expanding the free Mein Jena WiFi in the city on the Saale. From now on, various KSJ locations will be broadcasting the Stadtwerke's Wi-Fi. Users of the Mein Jena app can now use the Wi-Fi at the nature experience center on Schottplatz, among other locations. The KSJ administration buildings in the Löbstedter Straße area are also equipped with WiFi to bridge any waiting times for customers.

Christina Hentschel, responsible for the My Jena app at Stadtwerke Jena: "We are delighted that, together with the KSJ, we can now reach even more people with our free WiFi. This is another step in our commitment to digitally connecting Jena and providing the city's citizens and guests with state-of-the-art infrastructure."

The MeinJena app was launched by Stadtwerke Jena in 2017 and has around 26,000 users every month. In addition to free Wi-Fi, the app also offers daily news about the city, event information and local transport route planning.
