Half-year results of the 2025 crown cork collection campaign

The crown cork collection campaign organized by Kommunalservice Jena has once again met with a pleasing response this year. As of 30 June 2025, over 2 tons of crown caps have already been collected. This corresponds to pure scrap proceeds of more than €500. This year, the proceeds from the collection will go to NAJU Jena, the youth organization of NABU. This organization is actively involved in nature and species conservation and carries out numerous projects with children, including in the Leutratal.

Please note that only crown caps may be thrown into the collection garbage cans ("treasure boxes"). Plastic bags, packaging, other caps or drinks cans do not belong in them. Kommunalservice Jena would like to thank everyone who has taken part so far and is delighted with the continued support for the campaign. Every crown cap counts!
