KSJ Stand Tag im Paradies

At the "Dein Tag im Paradies 2026" family festival in "Kleinen Paradies", Kommunalservice Jena (KSJ) and the Jena City Forestry Office, among others, presented themselves with their own information and hands-on stands in the immediate vicinity of other municipal stakeholders. The aim of the joint appearance was to communicate the city's key services in a practical way and to promote exchange with citizens.

The KSJ focused on correct waste separation and avoidance as well as presenting its service portfolio. In addition, creative hands-on activities were offered where visitors could design textile pencil cases and shopping bags. The offer was rounded off by the "transparent display garbage cans", which made waste tangible and illustrated the classic fractions of organic waste, paper, residual waste and lightweight packaging in a practical way. The focus was on the idea of actively contributing to waste avoidance through the conscious use of resources.

The Jena Municipal Forestry Office provided information about correct behavior in the forest as well as its many tasks and services. A special highlight was a tactile experience in which materials and objects from the forest were made tangible. Here too, tasks and areas of work were clearly explained. Despite the summer temperatures, interest at both stands was consistently high.
