Purchase of Ball Lights

Are you interested in purchasing a used spherical light from the Eichplatz site? 

First, the KSJ’s Electrical Engineering Department collects incoming inquiries via email at elektrotechnik@jena.de. 

The recovered lights are inspected for potential reuse, sorted, and temporarily stored. Depending on the number of inquiries we receive in the coming days and weeks and the number of lights still suitable for reuse, we will determine the best possible distribution channel to get the lights to individuals or organizations. We therefore ask for your patience; we will reach out to you proactively.

You can help us by providing the following information:

• A clear point of contact to which we can assign the inquiry, preferably via email, or alternatively by phone
• Number of lights (only if available in sufficient quantities)
• Reason for preferred allocation, if applicable

• Condition of the light fixture that is still acceptable:

  a) With typical signs of weathering, in working order
  b) With typical signs of weathering, damage to the PVC shell, in working order
  c) With typical signs of weathering, damage to the PVC shell, no longer functional
