Ausbildungsstart beim KSJ: Neun neue Azubis

On August 11, 2025, nine young people will begin a new phase in their lives: they will start their professional education at Kommunalservice Jena (KSJ) - in six different occupational fields. Professional education will be provided in the fields of civil engineering, gardening and landscaping, automotive mechatronics, industrial clerk, electronics technician and professional driver (each m/f/d).

The new colleagues will thus take on a meaningful job in the service of the city of Jena right from the start - in future, they will look after the road and path network, maintain vehicles, create and care for green spaces, maintain traffic lights and lanterns or drive trucks around the city - a wide range of tasks that reflects the diversity of the city's infrastructure.

A special feature of Professional education at KSJ is the close cross-departmental cooperation: the trainees gain insights into various fields of work and get to know the company as a whole - both professionally and personally. The first few days are all about settling in: company tours, workshops and a joint team event provide orientation and lay the foundations for a good working relationship. For many years, the KSJ has focused on modern, practical training and promotes not only the specialist knowledge but also the personal development of the trainees.

Applications for the 2026 training year (start: August 17, 2026) are possible from September 1, 2025. All information on our job profiles, requirements and the online application can be found at: https://ksj.jena.de/ausbildung

We wish all trainees a successful start and a great start to their careers!
