Tree felling on December 8

On December 8, 2025, an ash tree in Otto-Devrient-Straße and a Norway maple in August-Bebel-Straße will have to be felled.

The reasons for this are a lack of stability due to fungal infestation in the trunk base and root plate, which has caused extensive rotting, and in August-Bebel-Straße due to the construction work, as a result of which stability cannot be guaranteed.

Both trees will be replaced by substitute plantings.
