We impart knowledge about environmentally conscious action in an understandable way.
Our free offer is mainly aimed at pre-school groups and school classes, but we are also increasingly receiving requests from companies, vocational school classes, students and groups of senior citizens.
For over eight years, we have been offering guided tours of the KSJ premises for various age groups. The main aim is to raise participants' awareness of the issues of waste, recycling and the careful use of resources.
Together with children and teachers, we take a look at our depot.
We talk about the KSJ's work tasks, focusing on waste and waste separation, and visit a waste collection vehicle.
The tour ends at the northern recycling center in Löbstedter Straße, where all participants can see the various processes of waste acceptance, storage and reloading.
During the 45 to 90-minute tour, all questions relating to recycling, waste cycle processes and correct waste disposal are discussed.
Time required
45 to approx. 60 minutes
Idea
The children discover that there are various ways to dispose of waste correctly. They learn that much of this waste can still be recycled. The children learn about the work of the refuse collection staff and the recycling centers and observe a refuse truck in action.

The visits take place by appointment. Give us a call, send us an e-mail or fill out the form below to make an appointment. We look forward to seeing you and, of course, to answering your children's questions!
We are delighted to provide you with a children's magazine on the subject of waste management! This offers exciting stories, playful learning content and creative hands-on ideas about the environment and sustainability with a focus on Biowaste containers. Educational professionals, teachers and parents will find valuable ideas for encouraging children of pre-school, primary and/or secondary school age.
