Occupational health management

A company health management system has been in place at the company since 2019.

We are certified with the "Thuringian Seal for Healthy Work" in GOLD.

The Healthy Work Network awards certificates to interested companies and public service institutions that voluntarily undergo an audit of their health-promoting measures based on defined criteria and can demonstrate a high level of commitment in the areas of employee health and health-promoting working conditions and measures.

Together with partners such as IKK classic, we will constantly sharpen the focus on employee health and underpin it with many individual measures. Our goal is to create healthy and motivating working conditions in the long term.

Auszeichnung Sonderpreis VKU Personalgewinnung

Gewinner Sonderpreis für Personalgewinnung

Der Verband kommunaler Unternehmen (VKU) hat beim Kreativwettbewerb 2024 Projekte zur Personalgewinnung in der Abfallwirtschaft und Stadtsauberkeit ausgezeichnet. Besonders hervorgehoben wurde das Projekt des Kommunalservice Jena (KSJ), das erfolgreich Menschen mit Handicap integriert. Die Kolleginnen und Kollegen arbeiten in verschiedenen Bereichen, wie Service, der Gärtnerei, im Tauschhaus 2.0 und der Elektroschrottbehandlung. Hier  sind sie selbstständig tätig und übernehmen Verantwortung. 

Sabine Jahn vom Saale-Betreuungswerk der Lebenshilfe Jena lobte die positive Arbeitsumgebung für Menschen mit Handicap. Der Sonderpreis des VKU würdigt das Engagement des KSJ und setzt ein wichtiges Zeichen für Inklusion und Barrierefreiheit in der Branche, mit der Hoffnung, andere kommunale Dienstleister zu inspirieren.
