Professional education is carried out in the field of system integration.

Professional education focuses on the following areas:

  • Installing and configuring networks
  • Integrating and testing IT security and data protection measures
  • Preparing and carrying out work tasks in coordination with business processes
  • Designing and implementing networks in an operational environment
  • Planning and setting up PC workstations
  • Installing and configuring telecommunications systems

Professional education

takes place at the Hermsdorf-Schleiz-Pößneck state vocational school center, Hermsdorf site.

The training period

is 3 years.

Training always begins in the official school and training year.

The final examination

is taken at the IHK Gera.

Prerequisites for this profession are

  • Standard school leaving certificate 10th grade
  • good grades in mathematics and physics
  • technical and analytical understanding
  • a keen interest in working with computers and telecommunications equipment
  • A sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team
