Waste disposal fees
The waste disposal fees (valid from 01.01.2024) for private households are made up of
- Basic fee and
- volume-based fee for emptying the residual waste containers.
Basic fee
(only for private households)
The rate for the basic fee is half-yearly per officially registered person:
- for connection to 60 l, 120 l and 240 l residual waste containers: EUR 27.85
- for connection to 660 l and 1,100 l residual waste containers: EUR 24.88
- for confirmed home composting, the basic fee is: EUR 21.78
The basic fee is calculated on the basis of the number of persons officially registered on the property (with main and secondary residence) on the respective cut-off dates of January 1 and July 1 of the current year.

Reduction of the basic fee
(for private households)
A reduction in the basic fee is possible on application if you can prove that you compost all Biowaste containers from private households on your property all year round. The prerequisites for this are that the Biowaste containers are properly and harmlessly recycled at the place of generation or in the immediate vicinity and that suitable spreading areas and composting facilities are available. You can obtain the application form here.
The reduction of the basic fee upon confirmation of home composting will take place on the next effective date and will be limited to 5 years.
(Please note: the disposal of green waste at the recycling center is then subject to a charge)
Quantity-dependent fee for Residual waste
(as of 01.01.2024)
The fee rate for the quantity-based fee is based on the number of empties of the residual waste container recorded using the electronic ID system and the size of the container.

Minimum emptyings
For each residual waste container registered on a property, a minimum of two emptyings per calendar half-year will be charged in accordance with the provision obligation, unless sufficient actual emptyings could be registered for this container.
